AI customer service for Shopify stores
Connect your Shopify store and every channel your customers actually message you on. An AI agent answers product questions, tracks orders, handles returns and takes new orders — in the customer's own language, around the clock. What it can't answer, a human picks up in the same thread.
What connecting Shopify actually does
Install takes a few minutes and runs on Shopify's own OAuth — no CSV, no middleware, no developer.
Every order, past and future
A full backfill pulls your order history in, then live webhooks keep it current. Orders land in a filterable table with status, items, customer and address.
Your whole catalog
Products, variants, options, images and prices sync across. The AI agent reads the same catalog, so it quotes real prices and real stock instead of guessing.
You choose who owns stock
Let Shopify stay the source of truth for inventory, or let Bosla own the counts and push them back. One setting, not a migration.
Writes back where it's safe
Cancel an order or tag it from Bosla and it updates in Shopify. Bosla never marks an order paid — money stays Shopify's business, deliberately.
The helpdesk part: an AI agent that sells, not a chatbot that deflects
Most Shopify support tools are a ticket queue with an FAQ bot bolted on. This one is built on your catalog and your orders, so it can finish the conversation instead of routing it.
Answers product questions
Sizes, materials, what's in stock, what goes with what. It reads your product descriptions and your uploaded policy documents — not a generic model's guess about your store.
Tracks orders
"Where is my order?" is the single most common message an ecommerce store gets. The agent looks it up by phone number and answers it, including courier status where your courier reports it.
Takes new orders
A customer who asks about a product can buy it in the same thread. The agent builds the order and places it — this is the part a support chatbot cannot do.
Handles returns and cancellations
It can cancel an order against your rules, and route a return request to a human with the order already attached, so nobody goes hunting for the reference.
Reads photos and voice notes
Customers send a picture of the thing they want or a 20-second voice note. The agent matches the photo against your catalog and transcribes the audio, then answers normally.
Hands over cleanly
When it should stop, it stops — an explicit handover, not a confidence score. The thread moves to a teammate with the whole history intact and the AI switched off for that customer.
Where your Shopify customers already are
A Shopify store's support doesn't happen on the Shopify store. It happens here, and all of it lands in one inbox with one customer history.
- WhatsApp — your own business number, via the official Meta Cloud API or our provider. Not an unofficial bridge that gets your number banned.
- Instagram — DMs and comments on your posts, including replying to a comment that turns into a sale.
- Facebook Messenger — your Page's inbox, in the same thread list as everything else.
- Telegram — your own bot, free, covering DMs, groups and channel comment threads.
- TikTok — not connected yet. We'd rather say so than imply it.not yet
Bosla One — our Shopify app for cash-on-delivery stores
If you ship COD, the expensive problem isn't support, it's orders nobody confirmed. Bosla One is a separate app that installs straight into your Shopify admin and does three things.
Confirms the order on WhatsApp
Every COD order gets a WhatsApp message before you pack it. The customer taps confirm or cancel and the Shopify order updates itself. No WhatsApp number of your own needed.
Recovers abandoned carts
Shopify has no abandoned-checkout webhook, so the app measures silence instead: one reminder, once per checkout, with the cart's own product image. Off by default — installing an app isn't consent to market to someone who never bought.
Adds a product to a confirmed order
After they confirm, one more message offers a matching product ranked from your store's own co-purchase history. They tap once and it joins the same parcel, on the same courier trip.
Two products, and which one you want
They share a backend and an automation engine, and you can run either on its own.
Start with Bosla One if
You run a Shopify store on cash on delivery and the thing bleeding money is unconfirmed orders and failed deliveries. It installs from the Shopify App Store, bills through Shopify, and you never leave your admin.
Start with Bosla if
Most of your customer conversations happen in DMs, you have a team answering them, and you want an AI agent, a shared inbox, automations, campaigns and analytics over the whole operation — with Shopify as one connected store among your channels.
How this differs from a Shopify helpdesk app
The honest comparison against the category you're probably shopping in.
| Typical helpdesk app | Bosla | |
|---|---|---|
| What the AI does | Answers FAQs, deflects tickets, escalates the rest | Answers, tracks, cancels and places orders |
| Product knowledge | A help-centre article you wrote | Your live Shopify catalog, prices and stock |
| Main channel | Website chat widget and email | WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram |
| Order actions | Read-only, or a link to the order page | Confirm, cancel, tag, create — written back to Shopify |
| Arabic | Machine-translated formal Arabic | Egyptian dialect, right-to-left throughout |
| COD | Not a concept the product has | The reason half the product exists |
What it doesn't do yet
So you can rule it out in one minute instead of three calls.
- Bosla was built for Egypt first. Timestamps bucket in Cairo time, bulk WhatsApp campaigns only accept Egyptian numbers today, and the Arabic is Egyptian dialect. Shopify, the inbox and the AI agent work anywhere; outbound campaigns don't yet.
- It can't print a waybill. Courier integrations report delivery status inbound — creating and printing an AWB across carriers isn't built.
- Analytics is descriptive. You get revenue, products, customers, geography, profit and exportable reports — not forecasts or recommendations.
- There's no self-serve signup for Bosla. You book a call and we open the workspace with you. Bosla One, the Shopify app, installs on its own.
Questions people ask before booking
- Does this work with Shopify?
- Yes, two ways. Bosla One installs directly into your Shopify admin from the App Store for COD confirmation, cart recovery and cross-sell. Bosla connects your store through Shopify OAuth and pulls orders, products and live webhooks into a full customer-service workspace. Both write order updates back to Shopify.
- Is the AI a chatbot or an agent?
- An agent. A chatbot matches a question to a canned answer. This one reads your live Shopify catalog and order history and can take actions — look up an order, cancel one, place a new one, adjust stock, reply to an Instagram comment. It escalates to a human by an explicit handover, and the human takes over the same thread.
- Can it do customer service on WhatsApp?
- That's the main channel. You connect your own WhatsApp Business number through the official Meta Cloud API, and every conversation lands in the shared inbox alongside Instagram, Messenger and Telegram. Your team and the AI work the same threads, and a human reply automatically claims the conversation.
- Can customers track their Shopify order through it?
- Yes. The agent looks an order up by the customer's phone number and answers with its current status. Where your courier posts status webhooks — Bosta and ShipBlu today — delivery updates flow in automatically and update the order. Automations can also message the customer when the status changes.
- Does it handle returns?
- Partly, and it's worth being precise. The agent can cancel an order against your rules and route a return request to a teammate with the order attached. A full returns workflow — RMA numbers, reverse pickups, refund processing — is not built; refunds stay in Shopify.
- How much is it and how do I start?
- Bosla One bills through Shopify like any Shopify app. Bosla is a monthly subscription tiered on how many customers you talk to in a month, plus a prepaid wallet for extras — pricing is on the homepage. There's no self-serve signup for Bosla yet: book a walkthrough and we'll switch it on against your real store and your real conversations.
